Welcome to SEBAYAN
We are a Govt. Rgtd. Society, engaged in education project since 1994 in South Sundarban Delta islands for the poor, needy students [Boys and Girls]. A group of ex-students from Ramkrishna Mission are steering the philanthropic activities since the beginning. In recent Cyclone our campus got severely damaged. The repair activity has been completed with generous help from well-wishers, micro donors. We started Boys home again with 7 poor students [class VII to XII] with a target over 15 students in 2022.
Solar Charging Station
Solar PV project run by Sebayan (2004-8) under MNRE/TERI Program.
Vocational Training Center
Sebayan aims to encourage local unemployed youth both male & female, to be self-dependent.
Charitable Homeo Clinic
Sebayan runs a charitable homeo clinic for the poor families and old people.
FUTURE PLANS
- To form a network with the nearby islands, to assist the poor meritorious students who have stopped education, and bring them back to formal / non-formal education.
- To construct a small solar powered hospital with approximately 5 to 10 beds
