The seed planted in the year 1994 and same is registered in 1998.
At the time of its inception, there was no support whatsoever. The only help extended was in the form of private tuitions and small help contributions from concerned friends and relatives.
During the time of inception, there was no proper infrastructure, road connectivity. We constructed rural brick soil road, Rural zetty, Boat Navigation which has been further strengthened by State Govt support. Now Electricity connection and Overbridged (Mridanga Bridge), Rural connectivity has opened many unexplored area of income generation for the poor people. Now we are more serious to develop new project cluster in the islands to uplift the income generation level for the poor families which will improve the livelihood condition in integrated model.
Students from abroad, have also visited the organisation to conduct their summer assignments. They savoured the beautiful green belt, the mesmerizing atmosphere, together with the glittering ripples of the Nakchari river.
In the days to come, this natural habitat would be the center of attraction for all nature lovers.
The organisation has its Head Quarters in the Sunderban Islands. It is managed by a highly professional staff who are experienced and dedicated.
The Sunderban Development Board, West Bengal State Educational Department, Government of India and Ministry of Culture together with sponsorship from Indian friends, NRIs and corporate houses have extended a helping hand for this noble cause.
